"We but half express ourselves, and are ashamed of that divine idea which each of us represents."
We only show half of ourselves because we are afraid of exposing the full truth that is within each of us. Society causes us to think that our "divine idea" is not what people want to know. We think that Truth is not worth our time. Society has conditioned us to suppress the Truth that won't be accepted by a majority of the population. Most of the time people only want to hear the truths society already knows. Even then those that society has agreed on to be truths might not even be part of Truth. The truth we hold back might never be fully known. There is a Truth that spans between everyone in the world, but each person represents part of the Truth. So it will be almost impossible to ever know all of the Truth. The parts of the Truth that are accepted will only be a fraction of what it all means. It meaning the way life is; the reasons people are the way they are. The "divine idea" is there to show the purpose of the person in life. The opinions and personalities of people all around the world reveal different points of Truth. Of course there will people who agree on what the divine idea is but there will be people who disagree on the divine idea.
People want others to worship their god all in the same way but everyone has their different methods of worshiping. The Truth is one universal thought but is too complex for a lot of the world to understand. The Truth is a concept that is in everyone's mind but is pushed to the side by the world's opinions and many generations of suppressing it. From that Truth is a thing everyone strives to find like it was never part of them and it is an actual object. But Truth has all way been part of us and all ways will be. We strive to find answers to everything and while doing so we forget to look within ourselves for the answers.
